Finding Smiles (Pre-Primary)
Over 85% of a child’s cumulative brain development occurs prior to the age of 6, indicating the critical importance of appropriate care and stimulation of the brain in the early years in order to ensure healthy brain development and growth. · The school adopts a flexible, multi-faceted, multi-level, play-based, activity-based, and inquiry-based learning at this stage. Curriculum comprises alphabets, languages, numbers, counting, colours, shapes, indoor and outdoor play, puzzles and logical thinking, problem-solving, drawing, painting and other visual art, craft, drama and puppetry, music and dance. Love, care and faith in what the child seeks is of paramount importance at this age.
Finding Feet (Primary School I-IV)

During the primary school years, the school focuses on – Integrated learning which takes new forms in the primary classes. Theme based teaching which facilitates a focused method of enquiry based on children’s questions and observations.
The focus is on achieving foundational literacy and numeracy by all students by Grade 3 Promoting each student’s holistic development in both academic and non- academic spheres. Emphasis on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.

Our students channel their innate energy by learning through doing, as well as exploring and engaging. OLF’s program is tailored to provide a strong learning foundation to young minds through hands-on, project-based activities, so essential during these formative years. They will discover diverse languages, plant gardens, wonder, paint landscapes, laugh, play ball, make friends, sing and dance, write stories, explore books, run, share ideas, use computers, imagine, take risks, count, treasure the environment, and meet their needs, intellectually and emotionally.
