Our Lady of Fatima School observed the Sanskrit Week from 12th Aug to 20th Aug 2014.
It culminated in the form of a competitive event. Sisters, Teachers and Students, all participated with full enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by the principal, Sr. Deepti by garlanding the Goddess Saraswati and the national anthem sung by class VIII girls.
The first competition was held for class VI students to test their ability in writing idioms and making posters. Class VIII students participated in rendering of Sanskrit Shrolakas. There was an event of Sanskrit Antakshari for class VIII. The compere for the programme was Class X student Ritika Bansal. The different winners in respective events were Pratyaksha and Sahajpreet from Class VI. Class VIII winners were Devansh Maheshwari. Girls from Class VIII who won the prizes were Nivi Singh, Rachna Singh and Shreya Yadav.
The teachers in-charge were Mrs. Sunil Singh and Ms. Neelam Sharma. Sr Deepti praised the efforts of the students who made the programme a success.
